Payment Options

As we are a private practice, we do require payment on the day of service. HICAPS facilities are available for direct health fund billing.



Catherine McNee


Diploma in Physiotherapy, Masters of Manipulative Physiotherapy
Manipulative Physiotherapist

Catherine graduated from Otago Polytechnic (Dunedin, New Zealand) in 1991 and from Curtin University in 2000 with a Masters of Manipulative Physiotherapy. She has previously worked in New Zealand and the United States and has been working in Perth for the last 10 years. Catherine is the Practice Principal of Chesterfield Physiotherapy and Massage and works part time. She has worked extensively with sporting teams including: Perth Women's Hockey WA Diamonds 2004-2005, Aranmore Netball 2005-2007, WA Softball and Baseball 2009-2010 and the Premier Squash League 2009-2012. Catherine specialises in the treatment of spinal injuries and has a special interest in vertigo, cervico-genic headaches and sacroiliac joint dysfunctions. She actively participates in sport playing netball and tennis and attends Challenge Stadium gym.

Fred Van Andel


Diploma of Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage Therapist

Fred graduated with a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Central Institute of Technology, Perth in 2004. He continually upgrades his skills to keep abreast with the latest techniques to provide best practice therapeutic massage. His skills include, but are not limited to; sports massage, trigger point, deep tissue, stress, depression, MLD, Reflexology, Thai Table Massage and Personal Trainer (Fitness Cert. III). Fred is a keen swimmer having participated at national and international Masters competitions including Open Water Swims. He is a Level 2 Masters swim coach of over fifteen years. He has three years voluntary experience at Solaris Care (cancer) at SCG Hospital and also works as a massage therapist for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of WA for over nine years.



 Sherrilee Walsh


Practice Manager

Sherrilee has been working at Chesterfield Physiotherapy and Massage for nearly 3 years now and was recently appointed Practice Manager. When Sherrilee is not found working at Chesterfield she keeps herself busy as a Project Manager for  Malaga Crime Management Forum, Drama Teacher for Centre Stage Dance School and a PA for a small company. Sherrilee is also trained a Sports Trainer. Sherrilees other interests include acting, keeping fit and travelling.
